ABOUT ME

Jeannette Sharpless is the owner and baker-in-chief of The Sword in the Scone, a New York-based custom bakery. Through years of experience baking for birthday parties, gingerbread house competitions, and weddings, Jeannette has managed to infuse her work with her love of both the fantastic and frosted. Her whimsical creations mix together a vibrant imagination with an encyclopedic knowledge of baking, and a deeply ingrained practical bent to make it all work. If you can think it, she can bake it, large or small. Armed with an Art History degree, an unbeaten record in Lord of the Rings Trivial Pursuit, and a circa 1970 stand mixer she will bake your dreams to life.
